Broccoli, usor si gustos / Broccoli, easy and tasty

Astazi am vrut sa mananc broccoli si cautand printre multe retete, am dat peste una care mi-a atras atentia si pe care vreau sa v-o spun si voua. Usor si gustos.

Today I was in my broccoli mood and while searching among many recipes, I found an interesting one and I want to share it with you. Easy and tasty.

Asadar aveti nevoie de o capatana mai mare de broccoli (pe care sa o taiati in mai multi pomisori), apa, usturoi, ulei de masline, sare, piper si fulgi de ardei iute rosu.

So here is what you need: 1 head broccoli (which should be cut in order to obtain several small ”trees”), water, garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper and chili/ red pepper flakes.

Intr-o tigaie/cratita se puna apa la fiert (cam un sfert de cana, sa acopere baza tigaii), se adauga o lingura de ulei de masline, 2 catei de usturoi zdrobiti/taiati micut, 1 lingura de fulgi de ardei iute rosu, sare si piper. Cand apa incepe sa fiarba, puneti bucatile de broccoli in tigaie, acoperiti si asteptati 3 minute.

In a saucepan you add the water and wait for it to boil (1/4 cup of water, just on the base of your saucepan), then you add a tablespoon of olive oil, 2 cloves minced garlic, 1 tablespoon of chili/red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. When the water boils, add the broccoli, cover it and wait 3 minute.

Dupa cele 3 minute, inchideti focul si mai lasati bucatile de broccoli acoperite pentru inca cateva minute. Puteti adauga daca doriti putina smantana peste broccoli.

After 3 minutes, turn off the heat and allow the broccoli to rest for another couple of minutes. You can add sour cream on the broccoli if you like.
